Gyms In Exeter Can Fitness Gyms Across The World Use Their Treadmills To Generate Green Power?

Can fitness gyms across the World use their treadmills to generate Green power? - gyms in exeter

Might health clubs around the world use their treadmills, bicycles and weight machines for generating electricity? And provide electricity to their own lights, and perhaps even for the network - Handy and practical?

A large proportion of the homeless have always been green recycling boxes. Maybe I could make homeless shelters treadmilss Gyms, new, and have an option for homeless people with money of the power sector.

I agree with gcnp58 - everyone can make a breakthrough. However, if all gyms have asked the manufacturers of new models that were out of all electricity in a bank of batteries eventually produces health clubs could reduce their total consumption of the network. It is a good idea. Health Clubs can also use solar hot water, solar photovoltaic technologies, and reduce existing energy consumption and carbon footprint. Everyone should. It starts by a thread ...

They are not like, but it's true. Do the math. Per capita consumption of electricity of about 32,000 watt-hours per day (12,000 kilowatt hours per year per person). A person who might reasonably typical shape of a bicycle in a position to produce 200 watt-hours (riding hard for an hour produced (200 watts, most conditions are not sufficient to 200 watts in one hour (Floyd Landis, for example, produces 280 Watts per hour for 8 hours, and he (or a rider like him) is stored in advance in the delivery of her man)). So, if all the land of the stationary bike for an hour, the amount of less than one percent of the total electricity needs.

Use of man to no longer produce electricity. We are not strong enough.

edit: Although the production of electricity from these logical to commute by walking, running or biking could save large amounts of energy. This saving is primarily caused by the 2000 kilograms of steel to stay with you when you go somewhere.

thats a good idea! They should sell kits that could Pople on their treadmills at home generators at home, on their power consumption reduced. not sure it would make a hole, but it could. Fitness centers could reduce the fees that way. to help them remain competitive. Would not say how, sure, the impact of this will be investigated, but no further.

This is a good question because, as more people aware of health, that the exercise machines in many clubs and burning energy not used. Some of the answers so far as to say that machines need energy to work on. Machinery, which is on the treadmill, true, but a bike, elliptical, or can be activated by the user and capture the collective energy of people who exercise.

The energy is collected would be sufficient to power the screen. But that's okay. Electricity is generated and will not be wasted. Perhaps some of the lighting in the gym could be fed through the training. One day it will happen really. But with a lot of energy issues, should the cost of energy, increasing the cost of conservation of energy in order to buy more of them for the equipment, many applications that is energy efficient. The economy is driven solutions. You can be sure that if there is an economic advantage, there will be no extra time to put up a solution available.

But now reap the capacity of the machines to add energyCosts outweigh the benefits. But this change in May, in fact, change this. And one day, which is what is proposed to pass.

What do you think of hybrid electric bicycles, which save energy by reducing or, and to apprehend them manufactured in the ribs. This is comparable with the technology of hybrid vehicles. This technology makes sense and is probably the bike "commuter" if the costs are low.

When it cut to the many environmental solutions that cost enough to provide a clear benefit, it is expected the solution. If not, is probably due to the economy.

That was sooo funny. LMFAO ... Especially the young homeless people know that your PC does not laugh at things and not really enough, but only down .... , ^)
Anyway, I had had a similar idea, a little dynamo in the wrong baby put (pacifier? Link) And with the network. You can protect the child from a "school of the previous generation station (PSGS) fall for a few hours and everything was found in the ranks, and fossil fuel free dummy to suck ....

Look at all the answers here. The variety of spirits meet in "one" idea. We all laughed at this post by masked Masala. But that's exactly what I mean. In my bad memory here, please leave me a list of people who laugh more about:
*) The Wright brothers, flying like a bird .., are you kidding?
*) Thomas Edison ... to replace my oil lamp, ... and do it all over town?
*) You'll do anything ... to dress "in" the house?
*), Henry Ford ... I would not hitch my horse to get supplies? I am the essence of the trade for hay.
*) ... Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier?
*), Ray Kroc ... What do you mean when you say "fast food?"
These are people who think differently will be the future. The solutions must benefit consumers and benefit not only large companies ... that the oil companies. I'm not saying that the oil companies not to do something green, but it will take more than listening to "Big Oil is working" for me the result that ... in the PR belowICE CREAM! Perhaps no treadmills, steppers, but stairs, exercise bikes () no hunger, is the question we must ask ourselves: Is this cost prohibitive? In other words, cost more to implement than we get in return? I would rather have 1% of 100 people than 100% of a person. Unity is strength.

I do not see how it could work ... Treadmill counting calories, miles, and all sorts of other things. They also use electricity. All the electricity generated would be used by them. It would be too expensive to build only for this use.

I talked to my friends about the idea today
b / ci treadmill at any time
it would be a good idea to produce energy, while the development of

But the thing
are costly to your computer
would probably be at least 50 to 100 years to break even with the actual cost of setting things

There was a time not so long (and 25 if I remember what could go the other), the Sears and come with a band that has been moved to the strength of the legs. It was not as smooth as his career and not the benefits of things such as Flex and measure heart rate monitors, but I'm sure we could use a way to find the basic concept for improvement. But I think on the basis that the work and create a net gain of energy could. However, if we could adapt existing treadmills, gym equipment would have to change, thereby wasting significant.
I like the idea of bicycles.

Some treadmills can produce electricity, but most users of the net power, defined as at a certain speed, and go on with this speed. To produce energy, which somehow should be grounded in the environment (by the safety bar, a type of belt), which would be convenient or suitable for exercise.

One candidate could be stationary bikes, cross trainers and the like, where the resistance exercise disadvantages. Yes, provided that the resistance could be a motor / generator, then you really create green electricity.

The problem is that it is difficult to regulate, to. Our system of energy works with computers running at high speed and generates loads is predictable control of the turbine when more power is needed. It is not very useful, especially in their control a large number of small generators that operate at different speeds to start, and continue sporadically.

It can happen, but it should be a reasonable means to food typesTed and transmission on the network as a product of more predictable and consistent. However, an interesting idea - are always good to unchecked power (but rarely economic benefits)
